  1. Just a glimpse of sunset there, in that very cloudy sky. How´s the weather, Brendan? We are roasting in a heatwave here and it reached 40ªC yesterday. It will be another scorcher today, so I´m up and ready to take Lizzie for her walk before it gets too unbearably hot. The nights are uncomfortable when the temperature does not come down lower than 25ª.

If it´s not too much trouble, can you post an outline map of the UK indicating your progress, like you did last year? (I know where Newcastle is but I like to get the big picture.)

    1. There's a good wind and cool. Jacket needed. I will do the maps, I just haven't figured out how to do it on my new tablet yet.

  2. Whitby, where Count Dracula's coffin was shipped to. Unlike Grimsby, very quaint and full of holiday homes. Very cool here today, while the rest of Europe swelters. Hat and fleece needed for our walk on the cliffs.
