Wednesday 17th August. Carrickfergus.

Nomad is here for the next 11 nights. It is slightly cheaper than Bangor marina.

  1. Bangor to Carrickfergus must have been a bit busy; like crossing the channel (Steve)

    1. It's a very narrow dredged channel so easy to cross.

  2. That was a marathon trip Brendan. How long did it take from Androssen to Bangor? Do you have a friend living by Lough Erne? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. Anyway, hope you're resting up now.

  3. 11 nights will be expensive. Do you get special rates? Hope so. How's the weather?

    1. You can see Scotland from here but it took 12 hours. There's no getting away from the expense.

  4. Well done on the voyage, Brendan. I had no idea where Carrickfergus was, but I have always loved this haunting melody about the place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJMggxSzxM4
