I'm off to spend a week with Margaux tomorrow. Back on the 28th.

It's not over yet.

Nomad is here for the next 11 nights. It is slightly cheaper than Bangor marina.

Steve leaves this afternoon. Ailsa Craig on the way to Bangor.

Visited the isle of Arran on the ferry..

Steve has arrived.

High pressure.There is not a breath of wind. That is a submarine base on the right. A country divided. On the way to my Loch Goil. Tonights anchorage.

My spot for the night. Just my luck, the pub's shut on Tuesdays. Time for bed.

It's a well equipped town with a chandlery so I can get on with some long overdue jobs on the boat. There's a memorial garden to Linda McCartney which I didn't get around to visiting.

Strong winds and rain forecast for the next few days so I'll stay here.
