Monday 13th June. Grimsby.

Image
Spent yesterday evening with Dave and Steve who have abandoned their round Britain trip because of bad weather and are returning to Lymington in their Vancouver 27. Lovely Sam Smiths bitter at £2 a pint and the friendliest club I have ever been to. A town in poor shape since the Icelanders won the cod wars. No more fishing but somehow it still smells of fish. Lovely old buildings left to rot. Not subsidence, they actually built it like that. Brilliant!

Grimsby.
